Diana Condron, Food and Nutritional Services
Diana joined Oak Hill Hospitals food and nutritional services department on November 2, 2002 where she has worked in the cafeteria and kitchen for patients and special functions. She and her husband Lester live in High Point. They have a daughter, Megan, 27, who is married and lives in New Jersey. Dianas nomination emphasized that she is the consummate team player. This lady comes in at a moments notice; she works on her days off and will always fill in wherever needed. She will never say no. Her nomination came from members of her department who also stated how much she has helped her department over and over again. On Dianas days off she makes flower displays for the function rooms. Truly a caring star. About Oak Hill Hospital Diana says the thing she likes most is how everyone makes you feel like one big happy family and how well she is treated by her supervisors, directors and administration.
Donna Redler, RN, BSN, Nursing Supervisor
Donna transferred over from another HCA facility in February of 2006. She has been with HCA almost three years. Donna works in nursing administration as a house supervisor and covers the hospital from 7 AM to 7 PM. She and her beloved husband John live in New Port Richey. They have a son, Charles, a daughter-in-law Michele and two grandchildren, Abigail, 4, and Jonathan, 2. Her family all live in New Hampshire. Her nomination read, She has been nominated for assisting with urgent needs of supplies in the cardiovascular recovery unit which has enabled critical care to be delivered to patients in need. She offers support to patients and staff in need; makes numerous deliveries from pharmacy for stat meds. Meanwhile she always does this with a smile. All of this makes Donna the star player she is. Donna says that since coming to Oak Hill Hospital she is impressed with the warmth and dedication of those she works with to make Oak Hill Hospital such an outstanding place to work in.
Maura Butterfield, RN
Maura joined Oak Hill Hospital in August of 2004 where she works on the fourth floor as a floor nurse. Her husband Mark is a software engineer and they have four children, Kristin, 14, lives with Mark and Maura in Spring Hill. Their grown children: daughter Robyn, 25, son Mark, 20, and son Ryan and daughter-in-law Martha all live in Syracuse. Ryan and Martha have a daughter Hannah, 20 months. Mauras nomination described an incident when one of the nurses had to leave at 5 PM because he was sick. Maura took over his group and saved the day for the fourth floor nursing team. It was a very busy day and she was training a new nurse. She never complained about anything. She was still smiling at the end of the day. Maura in turn says that she enjoys the camaraderie and team spirit of the fourth floor staff.
In making the announcement Oak Hill Hospitals Chief Operating Officer Sonia Gonzalez said, Dr. Thomas Frist, Senior, our founder, always believed that Good people beget good people. People like Diana, Donna and Maura prove that Oak Hill Hospital will continue the legacy.
